Working closely with Marwan's family in the occupied West Bank (Palestine), the Scott sisters spent over 3 years following the family as they struggled through Marwan's prisoner hunger strike. Brought on by harsh prison conditions and the de- sire to make a stand, the following months were an intense year that took its toll on Marwan's family and inner circle. The film follows painful prison visits by his family to see Marwan, only to be turned away at the last moment. As the hunger strike builds, we see in depth interviews from the people who know Marwan best, from Israeli political leaders to his lawyers, his sons and beloved wife Fadwa. Highly crafted, daring and humanist in its approach, Tomorrow's Freedom film builds a powerful picture of a man that might one day lead the Palestinian people. And poses the question; can peace between Israel and Palestine be reached with the right leaders? Is Marwan that leader?

The film takes us on intimate journeys into two characters as Stephen Giddings, the film's main character, auditions for and takes on a role in a movie. Produced with a mixed cast of people in addiction/recovery alongside four professional actors, the work presents alternative perspectives on urgent social questions including alcohol/drug misuse, gambling and mental health. As fiction merges with reality, the separation between person, actor and character begins to dissolve and the lines between what is real and what is fabrication start to blur.

Years later, and still clinging to the adoration of her childhood idol, survivor Penny takes best friend and fellow Marc Bolan fan to visit his shrine in London but a chance encounter there catapults her back to the horror she had tried so hard to forget. Bolan's Shoes is a joyful celebration of Seventies culture and brims with the energy of that vibrant era but, like Marc Bolan's legacy, it's retro glitter is dimmed by the tragic repercussions of that deadly road accident.
